PCYC swim team is a competitive team for club members’ children ages 5-18 that focuses on helping children reach their highest personal potential as an athlete. A child’s strong ability to swim is required. PCYC swim team is a member of Mississippi Gulf Coast Swim League and competes with Bayou Bluff, Diamondhead, Gulfport Yacht Club, Gulfport Recreation Center and Biloxi Yacht Club. Team is coached by Catherine Williams and Jeffrey Klemmer.
The pool is scheduled to open May 2nd. The swim team is scheduled to end their season on June 30th, but we will plan to still offer Private Lessons through the remainder of the summer.
May 2nd – June 30th Ages 10 and Under: Monday – Friday 5:00 pm- 5:45 pm Ages 11 and Over: Monday – Friday 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
The Meet Schedule has not yet been released, and Meet dates are TBD. We will have Team swimwear for the Meets and team photos. More information will be made available before the start of the season.
Swim lessons MUST be scheduled in advance and are available as a 30 minute session for each lesson. Monday 10:00am – 2:00 pm Tuesday / Thursday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Eligibility: Must be a PCYC member or child/grandchild of a PCYC member in good standing. Members or children/grandchildren of GYA clubs are also eligible.
Fees for joining PCYC swim team: Swim Team: $115.00 (Additional swimmer $90) GYA Club Members: $165.00 for Swim Team Add $100 for registration after May 13th.
Swim Lessons: $100 for (4) 30 minute lessons, and will be available on a punch card.
